I really liked the idea of transforming into animals and found that whole concept very interesting, but what intrigued me more was the relationship between the main character and her boyfriend. He seemed like such a good boyfriend, someone who wanted everything to be clean and organized, yet something about their relationship still didn't feel quite right.
I thought it was interesting how she almost seemed to enjoy being messy, looking distressed, and living in a way that was completely opposite to him. It made me wonder whether his need for cleanliness represented something more than just wanting things to be tidy. Maybe it was also about control, or about the expectations of what a person should be like.
I don't think I fully understood everything the story was trying to say, but I liked how it explored the idea that someone can seem perfect for you and still not necessarily be what you need.
